The following is an example of how all my posting dates are showing in my forum

March172008 at 7:41pm

Any idea on how to fix this.  I was originally running a version 7.xx Access forum and then upgraded the Access database to V. 8 then V.9.  I then used Navicat v.8 to migrate the Access v.9 data over to MySQL.  I am running WebWizForums 9.08 and my dates all show this way for posts before and after the conversion to MySQL.

This is a character encoding issue. You can either edit the includes/setup_options_inc.asp file and change the page encoding, or log into the admin area and resubmit the time and date settings so they are saved with the correct page encoding.

You should also be aware that mySQL uses a very different database scehma to Access or SQL Server so an Access to mySQL conversion is not supported and you will more likly end up with an unstable database.

You should look instead at using Micrososfts Access upsize wizard to Upsize the database to from Access to SQL Server as the database schemas between the two are very similar.

After I got my "Access Denied" problem mostly solved (it's still happens occasionally), I tried updating the date setting on the date and time panel.  I had set the separator to <space> and all it did was squeeze the month, day and year together: January122008.  After that I just decided to work around that problem by changing it to a mm/dd/yyyy format which worked.

Unfortunately, it only looks right when I'm signed in as the administrator.  When I sign in as a regular member the format is dd/mm/yyyy.  Any idea why it is correct for the admin id and wrong for regular forum members?
