People from countries OTHER than the U.S., including countries where their main or official language is NOT English, often end up speaking and/or typing BETTER English than people born and raised in the States? Some of you put us to shame on the use of English. Congratulations, you have achieved what we could not - mastering our own language. (with apologies to the British, the acknowledged official owners of English as a language) Now if we can just get the British to spell certain words properly: Plow, color, and so on.  yes, it is odd that us English dont English properly....(I'm surprised the Americans haven't renamed the language yet actually) Anyway, i think the reason for it is, people whos first language is English will generally speak more slang, and more relaxed as they know others will understand them.
