I tried one thing and it works so far. open the new access, right click tblConfiguartion and then click export. Now it ask where to export, then choice your db2, and click definition only.... Seems to work so far.. ------------- The spelling mistakes has been inserted automatically of consideration to the people who find a great pleasure to search for it

Yep =) You might have to do it manual, cuz it say error on something about the forumname, but after manual update of DB its working ------------- The spelling mistakes has been inserted automatically of consideration to the people who find a great pleasure to search for it

I tried this same process, and get: ADODB.Recordset error '800a0bcd' Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record. /testforum/admin/forum_configure.asp, line 143 when I try to Update my Forum Configuration. Also, if I try to go to my forums, I receive another error. What I did was take my 6.x db, runn Str8dog's upgrade script on it to make it a "beta 2" db. I then exported the tblConfiguration as described above into my newly upgraded "beta 2" db. Everything seemed to work ok, until I try to access the site, or update my forum config. Ideas? Aad PS. One thing I just noticed.. my old 6.x and upgraded to Beta 2 dbs appear to be Access 2002 format, whereas the db included with Beta 3 is Access 2000.. I tried converting my 2002 db to 2000 to see if that'd work, same problem. |
