I am trying to report a Bug in Rich Text Editor.  Smile

It's a Minor one But Whenever I am posting any message be it New Topic/ New Post/ Update Post which has Emoticons present.

After finishing up with message if I use the TAB key instead of going to Post New Topic Button cursor will go to first Emoticon and once it is done through all emoticons present in the message cursor will go to Post New Topic/Post Reply /Update Post.Ouch

I am not sure whether someone has already reported this. But I appreciate if anyone can direct me to resolve this Minor Bug in TAB key

This is all to do with the browser you use.

Tab index's are set in Web Wiz Forums so it should move straight to the post button.

Some browsers when pressing the tab key will place a 'tab' spacing in your post so you would need to click away from the editor before pressing tab, if you do this then were you click away from the editor has allot to do with where you end up in the tab index.

I on one instance used IE6 and another instance IE7.

Both are giving me same results.

Can you let me know what settings I need to check in Browser

If you use Firefox it will create a tab space.

If you use IE then the tab key will go through each of the images within the RTE area, once complete it will leave the RTE area and go to the next form field in the form index.

This behaviour is built into the browser, the only way to prevent this is get the browser developers to change the way the browser works.
