Hi everyone. Well with a lot of help and advice from this forum, I have been tinkering around and designing a few skins of my own I'd like to share one of those skins with this forum and get some feedback:

I've called it Office 2 and if you would like to DOWNLOAD a copy for your own Web Wiz Application, then just click the http://www.thisworldsucks.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=210 - download link here which should take you directly to our forum pages. Thanks to Bruce and Scotty for their help

LOL didn't say that - we've got our forum modified with our colours, etc. so we stick with Red, White and Blue - the colors of American Motors Corp. (AMC)

That's what's cool about this. Within the licensing agreements and "rules", we can modify or tweak things, and share those experiences. It appears that Bruce keeps his eyes open and might even place the best of the best in later versions. Get that response from Microsoft! HA.

Bruce seems like a "cool" guy and I'm sure he may incorporate the bestest ideas into his own original software. Quite personally, I think he has a GREAT product and it in my opinion, surpasses most alternatives

I have no idea, but if you post your query in a forum thread entitled "skins" you may not get an answer. Try posting the question in just the support forum instead

We have recently added more skins to our Forum so users can choose which colours best suit their eyes. I find depending on age, and how long you spend at a PC screen, governs what looks best at certain times
You can view our skin choices by http://www.thisworldsucks.co.uk/forum/default.asp - clicking here , and if there are ones you particularly like, then just let me know, and I'll see what I can do about getting them to you. I am currently working on a BRAND NEW THEME which will take a bit of time, but if successful, will be posted here soon

Thanks Putz The skin choices are created to offer people whose monitors and eyes differ, a broader choice of selection. It's that I don't think the Web Wiz standard ones are any good, but its always nice to have a tinker and find alternatives too
But thanks for your votes of confidence and I'm sure when I have some spare time, a Star Trek skin would be my next venture

The forum owner may not be satisfied with this skin (after numerous attempts ) but since I created it, I guess that gives me the rights to show it off

Please note for future reference - skins take time to produce, especially if you are altering forum images too

Have you downloaded Scotty32 Mulit skin Mod? also you can just use one single Skin as well. You will need to upload the skin into your Fourm hosting folder.. then you will have to direct it in the Admin section to use that skin...
What are the problems you are having?

I didnt download anything, I just went to his forum where (one would think) the mod is operational, signed up to the forum, and tried to change the skins to check out operation of the mod....no joy.

This doesnt work. I subscribed to the forum, and selected alternate skins, and no change, it always goes back to "default". |
Well I'm not sure why you would have issues since our forum skins do change and do not seem to revert back to default as you suggest. I have however noticed that a few images were missing but this would not affect the skin selections which I've just again tested in Firefox and Internet Explorer
Have you got your browser set to accept cookies as the skins rely on cookies being allowed?
