I've added a ton more, but even though I increased the size of the emoticon window, it still pops up small.
Doesn't matter IE or firefox, you have to manually grab the lower right corner and drag it bigger.

Using Firefox or IE7 when you click the smilies then as you say they open up in a small window. I just click on the MAXAMISE middle option and my pop up window opens to full screen
Of course you have to adjust a file and goto includes/message_form_inc.asp

First back up the file just in case you make a mistake
Then go down to line 388 and you will see something like this:


On line 388 change 0, 0, 450, 340 to 1, 0, 450, 340
On line 390 change 0, 0, 450, 340 to 1, 0, 450, 340

It is the 1 that makes the popup adjustable
