IE has a big problem with cookies, the only way for cookies to be correctly set in IE 5 and 6 is to connect directly to the site, this means that you can not use any domain name masking, IP masking, domain forwarding, redirecting, etc.

There isn't allot that can be done unles you can convince Microsoft to make there web browser work better with cookies.

The only thing you can do is make it so that your domain name relates directly with your site, no domain masking, IP masking, forwarding, etc.

With Netscape it works.

I must search for another forum.

C'est la vie! :)

Thanks!

Thats because Netscape doesn't suffer the same problems with cookies as IE.

You will have the same problem with all forums in ASP as they all use cookies as there is very little other way to track a user in ASP without the use of cookies.

Not really, not without using allot of system resources, ASP.NET can, but only if your host supports ASP.NET and you can find a forum written in it, that doesn't require cookies.
