There are 100's of files which link to the default.asp file, you should not change this.

Default is the standard homepage under Windows, index is used more for Unix systems.

There should already be an index.asp file in Web Wiz Forums so if your website has had the default settings changed then the index.asp file redirects the request to the default.asp file.

Also my web page's main file is default.asp. This is why i need to change it :)

I will try with dreamweaver find & replace command.

Why not call your web sites homepage index.asp then. Would be much easier.

Most web hosts allow you to set and change the default page for a directory, you would just need to place the index.asp higher in the list than the default.asp so that it looks for that file first.
