I have installed WebWiz 9.50, and in the admin it says:

Web Wiz CAPTCHA :
This displays security images on some forms within the forum. This is used to prevent dictionary hacking, remote form submission, etc. (For security reasons this can not be disabled for logins).

I have enabled WebWiz CAPTCHA, but on the log in page, there is no CAPTCHA. Am I misunderstanding something here?

On the user login page it only displays after 3 incorrect login attempts on an account.

This gives the same level of protection but means that your users don't have to enter the security image code everytime they login.

Version 10 will be slightly different on this and allow you to set the number of login attempts before the CAPTCHA security image is displayed.
