Subject: Incorrect date/time stamp on Last Post

We just installed the express edition to test the web wiz functionality.  We plan to upgrade if all goes well.

I have set up a test forum w/ access rights and sample users.  I have set guest permissions to only see forum headers, they can not view posts or any other rights... if a guest gets to the home page they should only see the forum headers w/ descriptions and any info about # of posts & topics.  That is all working...

Unfortunately, the time/date stamp for Last Post is incorrect on some of the forums.  This only happens when logged in as guest.  When I log on as a registered user, the info is updated to display the user name of the person who posted the topic and the date/time is corrected.  What's REALLy odd is that it is only broken on some of the topics.  The ones that are incorrect date 01 Jan 2001 at 12:00am.

Is this a known bug?  Anyone else have this problem?

I was going to suggest that the guest account may not have the same time offset as other users, however the date/time you mention 01 Jan 2001 12:00 looks like it's a default value for a database.
Which database version are you using?

Make sure you have the Date and Time set to your standards... as what I know from the guest the guest is the first person that is logged into the forums they can date back to when it was created.. I have seen no updates on the date and time frame of the posts unless you are a registered user.. when you sign in thats when everything should get updated with that Time and Stamp

This does sound very odd indeed, I've never heard of this before amd don't think any default ASP/VB or database date defaults to 2001.

Do you have a URL to the forum to be able to see?
