can we delete a registered member?

Yes.... If you are Admin you can go to their Profile and Suspend User its toward the bottom of their profile.. you have to use Admin/Moderator Functions... and you can always if you want to block their IP address if need be..

the forum user contact me and ask me to delete/erease their account

so does "suspend User" will do that or just keep them from posting?

It should delete them completely

Suspending a user will not delete the user account.

With the older version 8 that you are using to delete a member you need to edit their profile as the forum admin. At the bottom of the profile edit page their will be a check box to delete the members account.

Any posts they have created will then be set to having been posted by a Guest
