Hey - just upgraded from v8 to v9 in the hope to get rid of an ongoing problem.

Users get logged out after making a post - any ideas? It's not just me - it's everyone

Its possible your server is not holding sessions. If this is true, uou may need to turn on the option to store sessions in the database.

I don't mean to sound dumb but how do I go about this?

It's an option in the includes/setup_options_inc.asp file. Just edit the file in notepad.

Cheers guys - fixed the problem.

We have about 100 members and maybe 10 on at a time tops - should performance be OK for these numbers?

Should be if using SQL Server or mySQL. Although I would still look into why the server is unable to hold the ASP session.

It could be a cookie issue. Are you seeing an big long SID= number in the address bar throughout every page on the forum?

If so edit the includes/setup_options_inc.asp file and change the cookie settings so your site can correctly set cookies.
