I am looking for a easy way to export the Memberlist possibly by Group allowing me to make sure everyone in my department has signed up for our forum. I have a few department heads that want to make sure everyone signs up.
Also is there a way to allow Admin to change what forums individuals are subscribed to? Once again the department heads want to make sure everyone gets emails when a post is made to a subforum to which their group belongs to.
Thanks

There is not a built in method to export members to a spreadsheet. However, depending on the type of database used you may find tools online that can export database tables to a spreadsheet.
As the forum admin, if you click on a members profile you will see a button at the bottom to edit that members profile. Clicking the Edit Profile button for a member takes you to their member control panel, from here you can select the subscription tab to see what forums that member is subscribed to.

I will look in the code for the table name etc and see if I can perform a query to export into a spreadsheet.
I was able to find that feature but it only allows me to view and delete not add, that portion is missing at the bottom. I would think as an Admin I could have that privilege to add seeing as I could delete them.
Thanks again for the info Bruce!

The reason why you can not subscribe people to email notification is that under anti-spam laws it is illegal. The user has to subscribe themselves to receiving such communication.

That I understand from a public perspective for public forums but since this is all internal, from my companies perspective it would be nice to have that feature.

I agree with Killer- being able to make the subscription for my members would be very beneficial. We also are strictly internal and use it to publish outage/disruption information to our internal end users.
