I installed the forum files but the version still shows:

Bulletin Board Software by http://www.webwizforums.com/ - Web Wiz Forums® version 9.06

1. Do I have the most recent version?

2. How can I tell if my reg properly took. Got some error about TCP port 80 not being open on the server in the test compatability but Like I said it looks like the upgrade took except for the version number at the bottom not being 9.5

The license is activated correctly and the additional features like the Events Calendar are available in your forum.

Your forum is showing the version number as 9.06 which means you have not updated all the changed files since 9.06.

The simplest way to upgrade from a previous 9.x release if you have not made any modifications to the code base is replace ALL the files and images with those from the latest version except for the database/database_connection.asp file.
