I have neve been able to get the avatar upload to function. My last try I get this server error:
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while uploading file/image. Please check the Asp Smart Upload Component is installed on the server. Please contact the forum administrator. Support Error Code:- err_Access_create_AspSmartUpload_object File Name:- functions_upload.asp Error details:- Server object 006~ASP 0177~Server.CreateObject Failed~Invalid ProgID. I have limited access to the server itself (seperate host) so I went with what I think is a stand alone asp (no dll required to be put on the server) aspsmartupload. Please explain this error.

All the upload settings on the forum REQUIRE a upload component. That error means the asp component you selected is not installed on the server. ------------- http://www.iportalx.net" rel="nofollow">

| Ask the Admin on the forums you are going to.. to Chage the uploader.. might need to put it as a different uploader.. The server that is hosting the forums might not have a default uploader that the forums use.. might want to ask your admin to change the settings.. |
