change the Session.LCID in both common.asp

'Set the date time format to your own if you are getting a CDATE error
Session.LCID = 1030

1030 = Denmark

Change it to your timezone, (dunno yet what it is for your zone)

Are you asking about the time OFFSET from the server time?  The default is zero (set to US Easterm Time, I believe).

If this is what you are looking for, you should be able to make the change in your PROFILE.  Look toward the bottom of the page in the Profile settings.

Hope this helps,

well ,

when i'm logged in the time is good

but when i'm logged out the time is wrong.

Q...Q...Q what should i do? :)

The time shown in the forum is the server time, the only way to change it to a different time zone is to get the server admin to physically change the time on the web server, which will also effect everyone else on the same server so I doubt they will do it.

However, each of your members can change the time offset in there profile to there local time zone, but the forum default will remain that of what the server is set to.

Changing the LCID number as shown above is only useful if you are getting a CDATE error, otherwise leave it how it is otherwise the active topics page will fail to work correctly. Also changing the LCID will only change the format of the dates and time, not the time off set.

Too bad the time cannot be changed in half hour increments. There are countries with time offset from GMT (or for that matter EST), measured in hours, by a whole number and a half.

Which page controlls the date? My host believes that adding :

<%dim TimeDiff,TimeAray
    TimeDiff = (DateAdd("h","+8", Now))
    TimeAray = Split(TimeDiff, " ")
    Response.write(TimeAray(1)) & " " & TimeAray(2)
  %>

...would probably solve the problem..Confused
