In the latest release I note:

5. includes/setup_options_inc.asp - updated to allow physical server paths to be used for logging
6. functions/functions_common.asp - same as above

What should I enter as the path? The default is:

strLogFileLocation = Server.MapPath("log_files")

Should I enter:

strLogFileLocation = "C:\path\"

Yes you would remove the Server.MapPath part if you want to use physical paths.

Before the Server.MapPath was done in multiple places meaning that you would need to modify the code in order to use physical paths.

It's now done when you enter the path to the log file directory, which means it is now possible to specify a physical path when entering the log file location.
