This is NOT related to the latest release. It has always existed but I never inquired about it:

After creating a custom group and assigning that group moderator permissions, they can see the Moderator Tools menu, however when attempting to Resync forum posts they get the following error message:

Error
Only members with sufficient permission can access this page.

This function is not available as you are using an IP address or range that is not permitted.
Please contact the forum administrator if you feel this is in error.

What can be done to fix this?

The error message suggests that the IP is being blocked in the IP Address Blocking page.

Bruce,
It's not! It happens to me when I login with a moderator account (custom group). At the same time I can post new topics or reply to existing ones. I have no IP's in the IP blocking page anyways.

This is being looked into to see if it can be replicated.

The resync function is ideal when a topic/post has been moved from one section to another, yet the section to where it has been moved does not indicate it being there. You click resync to correct that issue. It is also essential to be done when batch-moving topics from a section to another for the same reasons.
