Hi guys, I've just downloaded WWF to try it out and show my boss before we can consider purchasing...but am I missing something?

I have set up a SQL user in 2005 given it Create Table permissions. But whenever I try to use those details in the msSQL_server_setup.asp and ensure that the same username and password is also used in the database_connection.asp file nothing is happening?

The browsers just hanging :(

I'm no database expert but I added a new Computer User. Added a SQL2005 user based on the Computer user with Windows NT authentication so why are the tables not simply being created?

I've established an empty database for it and named it but nothing doing.

Thanks ofr any input-.

Ok I guess there's no help here...so I won't be putting too much faith in the product.

Very sorry you did not get a reply immediately, however you did post at 6:20pm after our office was closed and the forum is only monitored during office hours 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

The issue here sounds like you have not installed and setup SQL Server 2005 correctly. ASP requires TCP/IP to connect to a SQL Server so you can not use Windows Authentication like you are using.

You need to install SQL Server to run in mixed mode with TCP/IP connections enabled. If you are using SQL Server Express then you also need to use the instance ID in the connection string:-

localhost\SQLEXpress
