Is there an easy way for the logo/banner image at the top of the forum to be either random or even just revolving (ie it changes every 30 seconds or something)???

this is what i use on http://scotty.s2h.co.uk/ - my homepage

I have this as the background (say background.asp) underneath the logo and it loads a different background each time. It would work for a logo as well.

<%
    Dim intTotal
    Dim intNumber

    intTotal    = 3

    randomize
    intNumber    = int( rnd * intTotal ) + 1

    if intNumber = 1 then
        Response.Redirect("image1.png")
    elseif intNumber = 2 then
        Response.Redirect("image2.png")
    elseif intNumber = 3 then
        Response.Redirect("image3.png")
    end if

%>

just save the following into "banner.asp" and load it like so

<img src="banner.asp">

Well if you want free then just type into Google this sentence and you'll find loads

Have had a 10 minute play using photoshop just before leaving work and have an animated gif with 2 piccies so far (the second one has not come out right but looked fine on the work PC?!).

So a bit more playing and finding piccies and we will be fine. Thanks everyone....

Hiya - that looks pretty good so far. If you would like to send me some images, I could create an animated gif for your banner, with a nice dissolve, something similar to this below:
