I have set the radio button in e-mail settings to Yes for e-mail on replies and new topics. I get the e-mail when someone replies, but not when a new topic is posted.

Is this just a typo on features or do I need to do something else? I've checked the forum settings to see if there was a cooresponding setting but can't find anything else to set.

You need to subscribe to the forum not just individual topics.

To do this go to your Member Control Panel and under the subscription tab you will be able to subscribe to each of the forums.

You will not get post notifications though of your own posts, as you would know when you have created a topic or post and not need notifying about it.
