Howdy,

I am testing out WebWiz forums as a new forum solution for my clients. This looks like a nice application!

Is it possible to rename the "forum" folder to something else and still have the application work.  Only reason I need to rename it is that I already have a "Forum" folder with the old forum software on the server - so I need to install WebWiz in a different directory.

Thoughts?

As far as I am aware as long as you keep all the files inside the forum folder itself, you can rename the folder to whatever you care to - example forum105 or myforum, etc etc

you will just have to redirect it to locate the Default ASP and it shouldnt be a problem

the forum can run in any folder, with any name. As you can see on this one.

When you are setting up the forum, there is a part in the forum administration area where you enter the sites links and the link to the forum, make sure that you enter the correct path and everything will be fine.

(otherwise user activation emails, and email notifications wont work)
