is it possible to include a flash movie in a signiture? if so how do u achieve this?

You can, but Flash support needs to be enabled in the admin area under the forum configuartion page.

Once it is enabled you can view the forum code used for a flash file by clicking on the link to 'Forum Codes' next to where you type in your signature.

its only in verson 7 i beleive

it wont work

becose the forum has code like

replace(string, "1", "2")

so it will replace all the "<" with the code to so it wont show it

example: <img src="picture.gif">

it only shows text, so people cant damage your forum,

thats why theres codes like "[img]picture.gif[/img]"

and if you typed in the code for V7 to show a Flash thing, then in Verson 6.34 it will just show the text, am guessin, as you cant show Flash in V6.34

so the only way is to upgrade your forum to V7

or if you dont want to upgrade then you'll have to forget using Flash...

but i guess ya could edit files to enable toe "Forum Code" for flash

It won't work in version 6.x, it was only added around version 7 beta 2, and there was quite allot of code to enable it as I remeber it took a couple of days to write.

Your only option would be to upgarde yo version 7.

But as you can use things like action script in flash files it does open up security problems as someone could create a falsh animation that could pass sesitive to a remote server while the animation is playing.
