Hello,

The preface
I'm using the MSDE for the core database, but I want to develop the interface using a Microsoft Access Data Project (ADP - not MDB). (Access 2000)

However, I don't want to connect to the SQL Server database that I'll be using - I want to develop the ADP on another machine with an identical version of the database.

Now... the question...
How can I change the connection string in an ADP so that it uses a different database on a different machine? (Databases are identical.)

You mean from the File -> Connection menu?

If you can see the server then you can just enter the IP address.

What type of driver are you using?

Christ... now don't I feel like an ass... so here's the pathetic excuse - I never use Access... Thought I'd give it a spin for a change though...
