Hi all

Just one question probably asked so many times but here go’s I’m running Version: 9.50 and would like to update to Version: 9.54 do I have to update the mySQL databases and also where do I download the forum update from and do you have a step by step help doc, I always get a little nervy messing about with the databases.

Numanme,
As for the Update of a Database you will not have to.. since most of the Major Database changes are in the Version forums.. for instance from V7 to V9 there were Major Changes...

Just to add DO NOT run the database update file as you will corrupt your database. I believe however that the new software automatically checks to make sure you cannot do this, but it is always prudent http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=26515 - to backup your SQL database first (just in case) Wink
