Our forum has a couple of the free mods created by members here.
One is the upcoming events bit seen at:
http://theamcforum.com - http://theamcforum.com
on the home page,
The other I can recall is the "who visited today" seen near the bottom of the forum itself,
http://theamcforum.com/forum/ - http://theamcforum.com/forum/

I've also worked on but have not put into play yet some code to show a different "banner" or logo at the top of each forum - for example, when one enters the V* engine forum, it would have an image of the AMC V8 engine, if one enters the transmission section, there would be the pic of a transmission at the top instead of our standard forum header logo.

I'd like to get the forum updated to the latest, 9.54 code, but need to be sure that the mods will transfter over and work ok.

I know I need to attempt to REMEMBER when the heck I did to get all this working to begin with - I was very lax and didn't do a great job recording the modificication I made, like the above, or the PAYPAL donation button, and so on - I even added the breadcrumbs to the bottoms of the pages.
I'll have to do a comparison with the originally downloaded files and the actual working files to see which lines I changed, but then once I do that, I just need to know - does anyone know if these mods work with the latest 9.54 code?
I think we are at 9.06.................. it was current back in April.

There are probably some minor changes that you will need to make, and I agree with your comment:
"I was very lax and didn't do a great job recording the modificication I made" a bit like me

The best way is to make a current backup of all the files and folders first, and then upload the new forum software. After that, it is a case of comparing the most likely files and additions that you made, and for that, it takes a bit of time. I seem to recall spending a day updating the modifications and numerous asp files, but it would be best to research the forum modifications and I'm sure most mods will transfer over but with some tweaking
