In order to do this (if I'm correct) you would need to do these things - in order:
1. BACKUP your forum images folder - that way if there are any mistakes, its easy enough just to restore quickly
2. Look at the forum images within that folder. Most of the ones you
want to change have unique names and are created as a .png file and a
.gif file - so you would have 2 of each but ending with either .png or
.gif
How to do it
Say you want to have a new icon as in poll - open the new poll icon in a photo editing program (not paint) and then save it as: poll.png and then as poll.gif
The only issues I can see though is the flame, pin and padlock symbols are like overlays that will appear on top of the image, so some tinkering and trial and error will be the way forward. Also pay attention to image sizes as it is pointless creating an image size that is bigger than the original sizes
I hope that helps but obviously Bruce who designed the software would be the best one to answer your post

The forum images that you would like changing slytherin take time, and as I have stated above, anything is possible but not always at a drop of the hat
If I were to do the images, then it takes time, and I would have to run them first on my forum to make sure they were working correctly
It is not just something that can be done in 5 minutes but if you have time to spare, why not http://www.getpaint.net/download.html - download this photo editing software which is FREE and you could start making a go. As long as you BACKUP your forum_images folder first you might be pleasnatly surprised at what you could accomplish yourself and at no cost either
Bear in mind: Image formats - keep to .png and .gif - otherwise as you know only too well from before when you tried using out of date forum images on the brand new version software, you ended up with a bit of a mess

Like MrTWS says it takes time to be able to create those images files.. consider there was a huge update with WWF to change over the images files.. If MrTWS is willing to change over the images files for you or someone else is willing to help you out with this, you should show some consideration for them... it is always best to try to do things on your own first to be able to expand your knowledge for coding and other programs..

This is not a "support issue" slytherin as the forum software and images that you have are not faulty, but rather they are just not pleasing to your eyes
Asking Bruce to sort this out will not help as he is as probably busy, if not more so, than all of us. The images that you would like are out-of-date as far as this recent software goes Can I make a friendly suggestion?
Have you not thought of perhaps making "your" website unique rather than a carbon copy of someone elses or of images that are from a package a few years old? I'll give you an example of how a modern web wiz forum can look but with different graphics
http://www.hdmania.org/default.asp
It obviously will not be what you want, but this person has created their own unique images in line with their software version. What you want to do is use older images that looked great in their day, but now would not suit a modern up to date software. Consider this:
Your forum is about Harry Potter and magic, so why would you want images that do not tell about the magic that your forum has? They should be fresh, new and alive, not dead and buried
If I get a chance, I'll create some images and try them on a test forum. If you like them, then we can work out an agreement. How does that sound?

Screen:

I find the forum of web Wiz pleasantly work, but the control panel this way HTML achtig, I am not possible ordinary along, there nevertheless simply blades can be adapted, I find it strange that I cannot that version of www.dreuzels.com get, bad service! Their never problems have had, you can install these really, however, on my forum instead of that strange layout of now, I find those things complex! Sorry for my discourtesy but sit themselves transversely.

Slytherin
Because we know each other I must speak and hopefully try to help you When I first started with web wiz I did not understand the software either. Like everything in life it takes time to understand things, and this is just a learning experience for you
The software that you have is more secure than what you quote from dreuzels, but you cannot see that. Just because something works does not mean that it is safe, nor does it mean, that it can be easily configured to how you want it to be
You seem to keep on referencing other peoples sites and saying "I want this" I want that, but to be perfectly honest, that is Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work
Basically that means that you seem to be intent on making your forum look like a duplicate of someone elses, which means in my opinion, that hpmagicworld is not unique, which means that you are going to try and produce a carbon copy of someone elses success
Why? A forum is about content, not so much about how it looks. It is about YOU, your members and what it has to offer
There is nothing at all wrong with the service you pay for, or have been provided. However, I'm sure if you feel somewhat dissatisified by the software, then you could try other alternatives and hope that someone has the patience and the enduring ability to copy another forum look and then give you what you want
