Hi There,

I want to index my all forum pages from Google. Some forum sections are private and only for members. So Google cannot indexing these pages. Do you have any idea about that or issue?

Thanks a lot

If Google could index private forums then they would no longer be private forums as anyone could read the contents from Googles cache.

They could also access the private forums directly by manipulating the headers of their web browser (very easy to do) to make it look like the Google spider and so gain access to your private forums.

If you want Google to index all your forums then you will need to make all your forums open to the public.

Before all else thank you for reply Bruce. Actually you are right, it is sense.

So now lets forget about private forums, lets talk about private message/link on forums. I dont want to indexing google and guest users some part message on forums.

Can we use the code and hide some message/link for public users and google search engine? Like start with this tag [*HIDE] Private messages or links are here [*/HIDE] and close the tag. I think it is really smart idea and so useful, what do you think?

Actually I was trying to explain on http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=26665 - this topic but I dont think people are understanding me?
