I have a website of my own and I am thinking of selling products online that will particularly deal in books and would be selling all kinds of books. There is no online integrated payment option yet but I am thinking of doing this and so would like to know your opinions on that!

Its nice idea and also try Paypal on it very easy and simple. credit card payment is better for topest sellers

You can just make a astore from amazon. It will be the complete store and they handle everything and pay you commission.

usually is better to make a custom CMS to suit your needs and I believe is worth the extra money you will spend. FInd a good programmer if you know already what do you need for the website
