I am sorry, is this forum about tech stuff only?

Or can anyone make replies or posts about anything in the world. Just Curious.

I do like the colour depth on TFT monitors, but I found that for coding TFT monitors are really bad.

They don't update fast enough so when scrolling through code looking for errors (seem to spend 90% of my life doing this) the text looks smudged. This very quickly gives you really bad eye strain.

If you do allot of coding I would stick with the old CRT monitors.

But if you still want a TFT one find a display model in a shop, open up a text file in it and have a go at scrolling through the text, if the text looks smudged when scrolling through it then don't get it. Unless you are not going to be doing much coding with it.

i agree with borg.. thats very very true.. infact its worst than u can think of....

if u r a coder.. and want a flat screen then its better to go for a CRT flat screen monitor but not all flat screen CRt deliver goo quality..u have to band the head in research..

some samsung multi function LCD refresh quite fast and achive equal refresh quality of CRT but they cost a lot..
