The issue here is a character set problem.

There are two ways to fix this:-

1. Edit in notepad the file includes/setup_options_inc.asp and set the character set for your forum to the one you originally used when setting up your forum. This is advisable as your posts maybe saved under this character set also and will also have the same issue.

2. In the admin area of your forum go to the time and date settings page and resubmit the date settings under the new character set.

Great. That fixed it. One more question. I had the forum set with guest sessions OFF and guest/forum permissions set for no guest. I turned them all back on but the guest is still not alowed to access that forum. Any ideas?

Guest sessions is an SEO feature and not realated to Guest Accessing forums.

For guests to access forums you need to give them Access permissions to the forums using the groups permission system.
