Does anyone know where I can download, preferably for free, an events calendar?

What I'd like is an events calendar where people can submit events, but the admin moderates them before they show.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

why not just use the one that is built into WWF?  you could do that and then change the user group to have an Admin or Moderator Approve the post before it is submitted?

I could, but I don't think the calendar is part of the free version, and I don't want more than I need...i.e., I don't need a forum, just a calendar.

Check out the calendar at http://www.timbertalloutfitters.com/calendar.asp" rel="nofollow - www.timbertalloutfitters.com/calendar.asp and see if that will work for you. It was free, easy to work with, and pretty versatile. There's a link/id on the footer.

Thanks Zaxdada - looks good, but I was after something where anyone could submit an event, and an admin has to approve / decline it.

Looks like Zaxdada is just promoting his own website, he is actually running a calendar from FullRevolution.com:

Also looks like some marketers decided to promote their sites by replying to him - lovely.

As for your question, I assume this is for a site without Web Wiz Forums since you could integrate the calendar from that into your site.

If you want a standalone calendar you may want to check out http://www.hotscripts.com/" rel="nofollow - HotScripts.com , Im sure you will find one running in either http://www.hotscripts.com/category/asp/scripts-components/calendars/" rel="nofollow - ASP or http://www.hotscripts.com/category/php/scripts-programs/calendars/" rel="nofollow - PHP at a more acceptable price range (dare I say free?).
