Hi bruce this is a weird one
I installed newspad on my server for one of my clients and on his computer the RTE is not working.
It works fine when I use the app on everyother computer (my home,work,inlaws,friends)
so i know its not the application or web server or anything.
I also know that the RTE uses javascript and I verified that his browser does not have scripting "disabled". He is running ie7, i set his settings back to default and no go.
I also installed mozilla and still the RTE is not working in newspad, so basically he cant upload images and edit in html.
any suggestions? im thinking maybe a virus or some kind of spyware program on his computer.

Often issues like this are coursed by Internet security software, Norton being the worse.
Try changing any settings in Internet security software running on the PC to see if that fixes the issue.
