Its a new release dougl so I cannot comment, as I have not personally downloaded this version. As always though I would always advise any users to make a BACKUP of their existing software first

Have you enabled uploading via the individual forums permissions in the admin area? 9.54 to 9.55 is only a small update which fixes some upload issues and adds a couple of new files for a progress bar. You should not see any issues with upgrading as have upgraded around 30 Web Wiz Forums installations over the last week without any issues.
