You mentioned this before but 1. Your link does not work 2. The better thing (in my opinion) is to monitor who registers and then send them a PM as and when they register, and perhaps keep the PM as a notepad text message for easy copy and paste into future PM's

That is how I am doing it right now, when a member register I manually send a PM to him with a welcome text and few information on how to use the forum. Of course ,the Auto PM would be bad for the database, but to monitor who registers and send them a PM or sending it in auto mode is the same, right? Thanks
