Hi all,
I have installed the free wiz forum on my hosting, for try and buy if its work..
Sorry for my english ;-)

When i insert new post on you reply, i have this error on screen:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_save_new_post_data
File Name:- new_post.asp

Error details:-
Provider
Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.

I have reinstalled more times the mysql db and delete the file, but nothing.

Why?

Make sure that the mySQL database you are using is 4.1 or above.

You can also try installing the newer myODBC 5.1 driver on the server then edit the database/database_connnection.asp file and uncomment line 143 which reads:-

strMyODBCDriver = "5.1"

ok perfect.

Now i have another two problem.

I have registered the forum in premium version.

For import old members in new database, i follow the link Impot tools.
Insert all required field and import member.
At the page:
http://www.xxx.com/forum/admin_import_members.asp

The page not work but says:

Import Members

I have a problem witn the word with accent (example à ò ù è ì ) and i see with ?

I find the problem i have error on line : 522
Type mismath

I have comment this line and now work:

'percentageCalculate = FormatPercent((lngNumberProcessed / lngTotalToProcess), intDecPlaces)

PS i have always the problem with accent letter
