I've searched around and I haven't found any kind of "directions for modifications" anywhere. I'm not looking at the underlying code but the pages.

Maybe I ought to explain a couple of basic things. I host my own website and forums on a server right here at my business. I do all the IT work. Professionally I'm certified in reporting system.

My website software, Ecommerce Templates, has a nice online documention piece that's full of steps to change and hints and ideas for modifications. I was looking for something along these lines for Web Wiz Forums, does it exist? If so, where?

Website: http://www.rustystumps.com" rel="nofollow - www.rustystumps.com click on the logo in the upper left corner of the home page to be taken to the RSSM Forums.

For my website I can do 95% of the mods in FrontPage or Expression Web and this is what I'd like to do with the look and feel of my forums. I've search and found nothing so that's the reason I'm asking. Thanks.

Thanks,

Walg

I"ve been looking around and maybe there isn't that much that can be modified. I'm not farmilar with CSS pages and they can't be "graphically" edited in FP or EW which is a method I'm most closely aware of. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them.

I'll probably make up a larger banner to replace just the logo I presently am showing.

Thanks,

Walg

There are header.asp and footer.asp files in the includes folder that can be used for website integration.

Software like TopStyle Pro is a good WYSIWYG CSS Editor and you can also find extra skins in the skins forum which can help you. I would suggest selecting the skin from the admin area that is nearest what you want and then tweaking the corispoding CSS file.

I would also avoid using Frontpage as it does not handle ASP well and can somethimes rewrite code coursing problems. Expression Web is more of an ASP.NET tool. The software is written using a text editor and you maybe better using that when doing your modifications.

Thanks, Bruce. As I've been digging into the Forum software I realize there isn't too much that needs (should) be changed except the skins and the two sections you mention. This is just to be a product support forum so I'm best to be happy with the basics.

I really like it and notice that it runs far smoother than forums build on Snitz.
