When I select either the Server compatibility test or the apply license key button i get the following error:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/forum/admin_server_test.asp, line 78

The line that is failing is the following:-

Server.CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")

It would appear that the Microsoft XML HTTP object (has been disabled on the server. This is required for Web Wiz Forums to run.

It is part of Internet Explorer so try installing the latest version of IE on the server and see if that fixes the issue.

As this is installed on a W2k server, I reinstalled the IE sp and all is OK now
