Is there a way I can customise the text colour palette, basically I need to add a colour on there thats not included

You would need to edit the file in notepad called includes/RTE_iframe_colour_palette.asp

I would just change one of the existing colours in the file to the new one that you want to use.

I found this, this morning and just did exactly that, just changed the red to the red that I needed.
