I have been using the RTE for 24 hours now and am quite happy with it, but for one problem:

whenever I try to upload a file or an image, I get the following error:

"Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/rte/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 75

800401f3"

Does anyone have an idea what's going on here?

maybe I should have added the following:

Windows 2003 SBS
4GB RAM
2 x XEON

This means that the upload component that you are trying to use is not installed on the server.

Make sure that you have one of the supported upload components installed on the server and then edit the RTE_configuration/RTE_setup.asp file in notepad to tell the RTE which upload component to use.
