Hi.

I'm running web wiz forums on a site where most users use the Cyrillic alphabet (in technical terms UNICODE) for input. The problem comes for many input fields which have limited string lenght (for example username, signature, thread title etc). The validators on the input fields count the cyrillic characters the same as the latin ones however in the database the cyrillic characters take twice the size. For example my nickname on this forum djurob takes 6 characters in the database but its cyrillic version дјуроб would take twelve characters in the databese. This leads to the strings which are input to be truncated leading to results like this crippled username.

Please consider for the next version either expanding the space in the respective database columns to be twice the space the input fields validators allow which would solve this problem or any other way which you find more apropriate for a solution.
