Hi!

Great forum! Steady & fast! Like it alot!

One Question: I've setup the language meta to Croatian in the browser_page_encoding_inc.asp file.

However the RTE still does not support the ć č and đ signs and instead shows the c, c and d symbols.

Can any1 pls help regarding this matter?

P.S.
using forum version 9.56a

Best regards
vlado jr.

Never heard of this issue before after updating the page encoding.

However, if it is older posts that you are editing using the RTE then they will have been saved under the old encoding.

Thnx Bruce. However it's a fresh install we're talking about (and also I edited everything before people started using the Forum) since I downloaded this Forum only a few days ago and am still testing the free version before I buy the Premium edition, so I would suspect it's a different issue.

The page itself works fine and normally shows the aformentioned signs. Yet whenever any1 uses RTE they are missing in the posts. It's really odd to me to.

Maybe try a different encoding and see if that helps.

Tryed m8: i did windows-1250, utf-8 & iso-8859-2 and also added hr-HR value in the xlmns string.

btw the edited xlmns will auto link with the lower <head> charset script when I add to xlmns script lang=hr-HR anyway so the head meta tag shows utf-8 by default
