Hello,

I just successfully installed the Newpad onto my website but when I try to login to the Newspad Admin Control Panel Login with my admin account it says that I am not authorized to view this page???

Authorisation Error 001.2 - Unauthorised: Access is denied due to insufficient login credentials - Web Wiz NewsPad

Any ideas on what may have gone wrong?

Thanks,
slappyJ

I have been reading the forum for a possible solution and I came up with this fix:

One thing you could try is setting the cookie to the root instead of using a path. To do this edit the file includes/setup_options_inc.asp in notepad and uncomment (remove single quote (')) the  following line:-

'strCookiePath = "/"

I removed the single quote and re-uploaded and tried the admin login and it still gives me the same error.

The admin login uses ASP sessions, so either the username and password you are using are wrong or the server you are using doesn't support ASP sessions.

Things such as incorrectly setup load balanced servers or multiple worker processes for the application pool will prevent ASP sessions from working.

I use the same username and password that I have been using for years so that is obviously not the issue.

What is my next step?

To login into Web Wiz NewsPad the default admin username and password is: -

Username: Administrator
Password: letmein

http://www.webwiz.net/webwiznewspad/kb/sql_server_install.asp" rel="nofollow - Review the setup file information again as your username and password that you have been using for years will not be what is above I'm guessing, but rather the username and password to your database perhaps???
