1. What does this change mean?;
file:///C:%5CUsers%5Cctk%5CAppData%5CLocal%5CTemp%5Cmsohtmlclip1%5C01%5Cclip_colorschememapping.xml" rel="nofollow - "
2. I upgraded to latest version, now i have a HUGE space with a square google ad instead of the smaller ad in 9.56a - its OK that the ad is bigger, but what is with the extra white space?

It's meant to show two ads side by side, one a text ad and the other an image ad. It looks like the problem is due to there being so many of your own Google Ads on the page as you also have a side bar ad that it can not show anymore ads.
Also as your forum is squashed into such a tight space it means that the ad and other parts of the page and pushed across multiple lines.

From the includes/google_adsense_inc.asp file take out the strAdSenseCodePost2 part that creates the second image ad and replace it with:-
strAdSenseCodePost2 = ""
