Has anyone written a mod to remove the images from a quote used in a reply to a topic?
I think it would be a usefull mod and maybe a good feature to have in a future version of WWF? (seems such a waste of screen real estate to show pictures that are already on the page)
I've had a look around and can't find any mention of it, however thought I'd ask before I begin having a go at it.

The only downside to this would be the fact that the user may have wanted to quote the image. What may be more useful is a reduced size version of it in the quote box.

It's so simple to do - you simply click on the image after you choose "quote" and hit "delete" key. Actually more simple and faster than choosing any option or check box.... and some of us WANT the image in there. However, typically, we just refer back to quotes, so i just hit quote, wait for the message screen to show with the quoted text and image, and click on the image and delete it. simple as that......

Wistex - that's a great suggestion, thanks. I'll have a play around with that as it would be easy to do. I've allready built a proof of concept on my test forum with the images removed, although resizing them will offer my users the best of both worlds.
------------- Cheers,
Tony
