Hi I wanna know if there is some sort of Portal MOD for WWF.

I wanna my visitors to land in a page explaining about the forum and with a login form on it with registration link too. I don't want visitors to land in my default page anymore, i want only registered users to have access to it.

Is there a MOD for it, or a work around?

Thanks

That doesnt sound like a traditional portal (which would be http://www.aspinvision.com/iportal" rel="nofollow - iPortalX ) with photo galleries, calendars, links directories and such.

You could easily create what you want by simply having your forum in a folder such as "/forum/" then creating the page as you describe.

You are right Scotty. I just wanna keep my default page available only to registered users, but I need a landing page for people to register and login.

How do I make my default page locked to guest users?

And how can i make a page with a login form?

I don't think that i need to move my forum to a folder, just make a index.asp page and make it the default page. But I need to block the default.asp from guest users.

My tutorial on http://www.s2h.co.uk/wwf/tips/intergration/member-only-pages.asp" rel="nofollow - Member-Only Pages might be able to help you out.

You could have this redirect to your new page or the login page for guests.

And yes, if your forum is already in the root, then I would recommend changing the "index page" in your hosting account.
