Hi - hope someone can point me in the right direction here.  I want to add a sticky note to every forum which is going to say the same thing. After adding it the first time I get a message that "Double Postings" aren't allowed.  I tried modifying the subject and managed to get a second one posted but now I can't post any more with the same content (even by changing the subject line). I thought perhaps the "Announcement all forums" would do the job for me, but that only puts the topic in a single forum.  Can't find anything on the support forum about this so hoping someone can help!  Cheers Smile

'Announcement all forums' will display the topic at the top of all your forums.

Hi Bruce - thanks for that - I've used that option and can see now where I was confused because I could only see it showing as latest post against a single forum and hadn't realised that it was still displayed in all forums (it shows latest post against the forum I was in when it was created).

However, it does mean that it's showing in all forums and I really only wanted it to show in specific forums, yet when I try to do this as a sticky I keep getting the 'Double posting' error message - can you advise on this?

You would need to change each post slightly to prevent the double posting error message, which prevents someone hitting the submit button multiple times and accidentally posting the same message more than once.

OK, thanks for that .. there's a lot of separate forums so I'll have to wait until I have a quiet moment to do that!
