Hi all.

I'm a newbie to both Web Wiz and also SQL. I'm running SQL2005 on a Windows 2003 Server, 32 bit, platform. I've completed all the steps but when I test the connection I get the following error:

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Can someone provide some guidence?

I have moved your post to the correct Web Wiz Forums support forum.

The error message is beceuase you are unable to connect to the SQL Server 2005 service.

This maybe due to a number of reasons such as the host name (address) of the SQL Server is incorrect.

You should also check that you have installed SQL Server in mixed mode so that it can except TCP/IP connections and that TCP/IP connections are enabled on the address that you are using to connect to the SQL Server on.
