Hi,

I created 2 newsletters under 1 category.
I imported 1000 subscribers and sent off the newsletter and everything went well.

now I imported a new 2000 subscribers and chose the same category.
when I tried to sent off the newsletter the list of the subscribers is the old one and not the new 2000 subscribers.

Can someone please help to point out what I did wrong?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you may have forgotten to import them into a category.

Also it will only import a member once, if they are already in the database it will not import them again.

Hi,

I imported 2000 of them successfully into a specific NewsPad Categories but once I click the NewsPad Categories, I only see 3 Subscribers.

Could you tell me what I did wrong?

Thanks in advance

Hi!

I have a similar problem.

I have two categories.

Category 1 with 600+ subscribers and all is going well, the newsletter sends perfect.

In Category 2 which is a Newsletter that concerns a complete different thing I imported a list - and some of the subscribers on that list already have a prenumeration for Category 1 newsletter - and it seems that I can not send the Category 2 Newsletter to those subscribers. Is this not possible or can it be fixed somehow?

I would really like to do this

You can not import a member twice so if they are already in the database then it will skip the import and move to the next person.

If you have members that you want in multiple categories that you want to import then the only way woulde be to manually place these members into both categories through the front end.

OK. So.. lets say that one person subscribes through the web and choose to sign up in both categories - that way he will get newsletters from both categories?

Yes, that is correct.

If you import a member then you would need to manually place them in the second, third, forth, etc. categories to receive emails in those categories also.

At the moment the import tool will only import a member once, so if you want to import them again, even if it is in a different category, the import tool will see the email address is already in the database and will skip the import and move to the next email address that is not in the database.
