Hi there,
Once when we started our forum we had a very good man (let's call him Bill) setting it all up. Naturally he became the administrator of the forum. Afterwards we settled down af admin team so today we are three persons with admin rights.

Now I wonder how we delete the first administrator account because Bill has left us? apparently I have no possibilities in deleting his account 'cause he is the administrator.

Can you help me figuring this out? Thanx :-)

There is a single built in admin account that can not be deleted or removed from being an admin account. If you delete the account from the database your forum will no longer function correctly, so the account will have to stay.

It is recommend that you only have 1 admin in a forum and make everyone else moderators as everything needed for day to day running can be found as a moderator. The admin account is only needed for managing the backend for things like when setting up forums or changing group permissions.

Well I guess the other thing that you might want to do is if you have rights to the FTP for where the WWF is located you can reinstall WWF onto the server and it start fresh once again

The easiest thing to do is change the email address associated with the account and then change the password. You can access the database directly to update the email address and from there you should be able to reset/ change the password.
